Join Newton Park and Rec for specialty camps at Emerson Community Center the week of August 19 - 23 and August 26 - 30.  

Each specialty camp offering runs Monday through Friday and is a half day program that runs for 3 hours each day.  Morning specialty camps run from 8:30 - 11:30 am.  Afternoon specialty camps run from 12:30 - 3:30 pm.  Children signed up for both a morning and an afternoon specialty camp can bring a lunch and stay with camp staff in between the two programs to make a full day camp from 8:30 - 3:30. 

Newton Park and Rec offers an Add Extended Day option from 3:30 - 5:30 pm for families that need it.  Campers must be registered for an afternoon specialty program in order to add the extended day.  Campers staying for extended day will participate in playground, gym, arts & crafts, inside games and other general camp activities.

This program is a combination of traditional and non-traditional games and sports, we play a little bit of everything! We customize the games to make them all age-appropriate and inclusive to all. The children will be learning the basics of all these great games as well as teaching them the importance of team work! A great way to meet new friends and to have fun!
