Wayland Recreation has partnered with local professional soccer coaching company "Be Ahead of the Game" to offer a weekly co-ed Soccer Camp. The purpose of this camp is to improve each player's skills to achieve their maximum potential at an individual pace, all while having tons of fun! Our BAOTG coaches specialize in improving skills and confidence in short periods of time, all while giving your player an amazing summer camp experience! We make sure everyone receives the attention they deserve; development is our goal. We take the time to play other fun games (water games too), rock music, and give out awards/prizes throughout the week! All are assured to have a blast! Players will be placed in a training group based on age and skill level. Daily practices focus on the fundamental skills: the correct way to strike a soccer ball, dribbling, passing, control, attacking, defending and lots of shooting. The primary focus is the development of fundamental skills in a fun environment with the introduction of structured team play. Coaches ensure that players learn the proper developmental skills: technical, tactical, physical, and psychological. Team play and spirit are fostered through group exercises. The camp day ends with a game or scrimmage.  Bring a water bottle, snack and lunch.
